• ATM (Automatic Teller Machines - Bancomat) directly operate with the public and allow cash operations; simultaneously, they update the account balance of customers. These machines may also be used to carry out other banking transactions such as bank transfers or to obtain information. 
• POS (Points of Sale) are automatic machines belonging to the bank indicated which are located inside commercial centres. People entitled to the service can automatically charge their current account with the sum due for the payment of goods and services bought and credit the account of the shopkeepers by means of an automatic procedure run, directly or through other institutions, by the same bank indicated on the machine or by the group of banks offering this service. 
• "Home and corporate banking" are services provided telematically. They include inter-bank services of corporate banking and cash management. They exclude phone banking services.
• "Phone banking" are services that can be activated by phone, by dialling specific identification codes. They include services that enable to speak to an operator, after the identification by dialling a code.
